okay-- late last week, I had my first experience finding a rabbit so warm, that its face and dewlap were SOAKED!!! I feel gratefull the rabbit had not died-- and was surprised the WHITE rabbit was the one in such a condition, and not her black sister!! Anyway-- what do I watch for, coat and skin wise-- (Rex rabbits) that would indicate a resulting skin issue-- and what needs to be kept on hand to deal with such stuff? I've dealt wiht a ot of dog, cat, and horse skin issues by using vinegar/ water mix-- and I also used Hibiclens on a regular basis on teh Service Dogs. Soooo.. I really don;t want to stain the coat with any iodine based product should a fungal or bacterial infection start up..
