A friend who supplied us with our newest doe also brought me a frozen fryer.
I started by cutting it up like in the video at the top of the page. It was much easier to cut up than a chicken. Then I placed in in a cassarol dish in a 400 degree (with salt pepper and butter) oven for 15 min. while I made a onion gravey with bits of ham and bacon in it. I then poured it on the rabbit and cooked it for another 20 minuts. It was served over mashed potato with corn bread and veggies. mmmmmm very nice!
It was a good thing we all liked it as we now have 2 does that should be giving us kits in October. If all goes well we should have a small freezer load by the 1st of the year.
