Hello all! This is my first post and I am sad to say that I am in need of some help regarding vent disease.

I have the supplies already for treatment, and I know the CCs I think (using the 1/10 per pound) but I need help figuring out how often to inject them with it. It's a subcutaneous Penicillin, if that makes any difference?

I would like to start treatment today so any and all help in this would be amazing!

Pen G subcutaneous and 300,000 units per millilitre.
Wow! That is a hefty concentration - likely meant for much bigger livestock.

You need to weight your rabbits and give 42,000 units for each kg of weight once a week for 3 weeks but other sources say 5 weeks

Example - an 11 pound rabbit is 5 kg (online converter) and would need 210,000 units (42,000 x 5) which is 0.7 ml (210,000 divided by 300,000) once a week for 3 to 5 weeks

Benzathine penicillin G, 42,000 IU/kg, SC, at weekly intervals for 3 wk, is necessary to eradicate treponematosis from a herd. All rabbits must be treated even if no lesions are present. Lesions usually heal within 10–14 days, and recovered rabbits can be bred without danger of transmitting the infection. A potential side effect of penicillin treatment is diarrhea and the possibility of an enteritis outbreak due to proliferation of gram-negative bacteria in the gut. Rabbits treated with penicillin should be switched to hay and treated with antidiarrheals immediately if needed (see Enterotoxemia).
