For fun, I put our pet lionhead mutt, unknown, with a black and orange tricolor Rex buck that came without pedigree. His brother was a harlequin.
The doe is a broken castor (I’ve been told). She’s about 6# and the was buck 7.3# Out of 9 kits, 8 survived.
I got a nice assortment of “Aw cute”. There are long coated and rex-coated, so I know the doe is lionhead/Rex/x. There are two harlequins, one Rex coated, one normal; a couple charlies; one tri, I’m not sure if it’s orange and black, it’s light, but it has the long hair and mane of a mutt. There’s a big difference in sizes, the harli rex-coated is tiny and a couple are growing out to match some of my standards of the same age.
The one that I’m really curious about is rex-coated with a poof-ball on his head and “pantaloons”. Is there a breed like that? He has curly whiskers, but will his coat change? It’s not great. The other two have proper coats, like their sire. This won’t be a repeat breeding, as I culled the buck. The doe has been a fabulous mother, though.
