went to TSC today, and took a long hard look at some small animal 'treats/toys" and really had a good belly laugh. packages of 5 apple twigs, about 3 inches long, and the diameter of a pencil-- about 2 dollars!! Hmm, I need to start an animal supply wholesale business-- after all, I can get the apple twigs for free!!!

A lot of people sell pesticide free apple branches over ebay for small animals. We used to get big boxes of them for about $10 to give the guinea pigs when we lived in the apartment.

if you don't have access to pesticide free apple trees yourself wouldn't you be pleased to find them?
