Well never believe a doe when she doesn't feel bred! :x

Kiss was due the 25th she hadn't had any kits by the 28th, (she is normally on time) I pull her out, to which she proceeded to lift when I touched her. Felt her stomach, couldn't feel anything no movement nothing, so I pull the nestbox.

Today I go out to 3 cold kits on the wire, so I rush them in, put them in a box on the heating pad, go back out and put a nestbox back in with the doe. Hopefully these 3 make it, they was still pink, but cold to the touch and moving slowly when I found them. I of them got something in its mouth, looks like fur and maybe poop? So I cleaned its mouth out as good as I could with a q-tip.

Whats even worse is I have her sold already, since she didn't appear to be pregnant so I sold her along with my black buck, just luckily the people left her at my house while they built another cage (they was only coming for the buck, and fell in love with her) so now I am going to have to tell them they will have to wait for a little while.

definitely lesson learned! I got them all warmed up and moved to the nestbox, she pulled fur for them. The only problem I am having is she is laying in the box now :x She has never acted like this before, I really hope they live. It looks like I have got 1 REW, 1 broken black or blue, and 1 broken chocolate. She is definitely a Charlie, this is her 2nd litter and all her kits so far have been broken or rew.

Never pull out the nestbox! This story seems to repeat itself quite often!

Yup, never pull a nest. Also, start practicing palpating like crazy!

So far all 3 kits are doing great! They had nice fat tummies last night!

i take it you don't have another doe to foster them to? Because if you did, I'd foster them to the other doe and then let her go to her new home.
