So what do rabbits love enough that they will do backflips for it?

I have noticed in the summer that they love flowers--roses, nasturtiums, but in the winter...my rabbits think carrots are ho-hum...

In the posing topic several people were taliking about using treats to reward a rabbit, but I have never found that my rabbits were that interested in food when I am holding them or have them out of the cage...What do you use?

My rabbits would sell their souls for raisens...(raisins?)

I'm not sure if they are supposed to eat them or not, but I got the idea from the pet store that I worked at because the chinchillas loved raise(i)ns too.

bit of papaya, dried apple, raisin, pumpkin seed, parsley - I have used all with success :)

Mine will sell their souls for Apple Horse Treats by Martins. Heck they smell so good I even tasted one and besides the texture being nasty it tasted good.

A lot of rabbits might need convincing that something is yummy. Maybe when you first give a "treat" have it be in their cage, where they are at home...it works for mine, anyways. And Anywho...I use banana, toast, mostly. :) Some like the sugar, some like the crunch.

Mine love flaxseed manna pro horse cookies. Only my inside more pet rabbits get them though cause they are semi expensive. The colony rabbits will all come up to me for the peppermint ones. Butterscotch horse treats get upturned noses so the flavor of horse treat is important.
