About half my rabbits are coming out with spotty livers. I thought it would go away as we stripped the stall down and changed the bedding but it's gotten worse. Some had livers just coated in lumps. Some though are perfectly fine. I think it depends on who is eating fresh clean hay from the top of the hay bin and who is willing to clean up bits off the floor that have been peed and pooped on.

Google is not really helpful though in looking at treatments so how do I treat for cocci? Do I need to treat the adults in the other colony? Is there a withdrawal period because I'm in the middle of butchering some of these ones with bad livers but at the same time there are netherlands in the growout pen that I want to treat if necessary? Should I move all the keepers to the breeder side and treat just them while leaving the ones I'm going to butcher and hoping they don't suffer too bad of symptoms before I get to all of them?

If I am not mistaken, Albon and sulfer drugs can be used as well. Instead of buying albon, you can use the reptile turtle shaped blocks they sell in petstores. I put them in the chicken water (because I did not use medicated feed) and periodically give it to the dogs when creek swimming season starts.
