While the west is burning up...I'm afraid I'm drowning....

We've had rain every day (purt near) for WEEKS! Saturday night we had a tornado sighted...strong winds, heavy rain...my yard, I kid you not, is under water and mud.

Here's your StormTrack 3 Forecast:

Today: Showers and storms likely. Some showers may be heavy. Highs in the 80's. Lows in the 70's. Humidity: 94%

Tuesday: Showers and storms possible. Highs in the 80's. Lows in the 70's.

Worrying about mosquitoes and flies...and..whether to cover the bunnies with tarps to keep them dry which cuts down on air circulation (I try to make it so it doesn't cut it out completely)...or leave them uncovered and risk a soaking from a strong storm...so far, I've been covering...

Same here, last week we had a sudden down pour, wind gusts of 60mph. Rain for 2 weeks at least. BUT! At least its not hot...it's warm and humid, but not nasty hot like it was before. So, I would take a month of rain over 90+ heat any day.
Oh, no extra flies here. Just keep dumping and leaving things flipped over so there's no mosquitoes.

I'm certainly glad I'm not dealing with 90F temps! I'm just wishing there wasn't standing water in the yard, the mud in the garden and animal area. I fret about getting the rabbits fed without their pellets getting soaked before I even get them into the hutches....

Yeah, we're drowning here too! But, I'm just grateful that we aren't having 100+ weather. Also, I'm going to be making little roof/covers for my feeders... moldy/wet food is disgusting!

I definitely second the "thank God it isn't 100+!"

covers are definitely on the agenda but I also need a way to dish out the food while keeping it dry. One of the negatives to having open air rabbitry...I get soaked trying to feed and tend to them....

Rain, rain, go away...hubby has a cage with which to play! I want to get it finished, and the danged rain isn't helping.

Tina, can you funnel some feed into a gallon jug? It might stay a bit drier as you feed.

*thankful for the 82 degrees, but wishing for a couple of days without rain*

We've pretty much had the same here. Calgary got washed out completely, and High River, another little town just south east of Calgary had been declared a disaster.

We've got small lakes all over our yard and a flooded basement.

When its not raining its hot, not as hot as its been in the states but too hot for me.

So...much...rain this year. It rained for two weeks(or more, I've lost count) straight here so the ground has been totally saturated. We got a bad storm that took out about 15 big sturdy hardwood trees. The ground is so soft they just came up by the roots. I'm so ready for it to dry up some.
