Just caught an American Chinchilla, not sure how or why it was out running around or for how long, but it has ticks.
I can remove them the old fashioned way (tweezers) but was wondering if there is a better way so that I don't miss some. Did some Googleing, but figured I would ask the experts

You could try using Adam's Flea and Tick mist and spray directly on the ticks. Then pull the rest off by hand. I use Adams on my dogs, it's a fairly gentle formula without any seriously harsh chemicals. I have never used it in a rabbit before. Don't they make tick stuff for Ferrets, that might work also. Good luck, I hate ticks!

ticks need air--you can try dunking the rabbit in tepid water that has had some dish detergent added, and making sure there are no air bubbles trapped int he fur, after a few minutes, the ticks may very well back themselves out of the skin. A horse owne i knew would apply vaseline to ticks he found on his horses--
of course, a flea and tick shampoo safe for cats----

I have HEARD, but don't directly recommend, that the Advantage brand of flea and tick treatment for cats is safe for rabbits. The other brands aren't. I have not tried this but am curious as to what other rabbit owners know.

Can't give advice about ticks but I do recommend that you keep this rabbit in isolation for at least a month. You never know what it may be carrying in terms of disease or parasites. It may be just fine... but please do not put your other rabbits at risk.
