Ignore that it comes in such small batches.... if it came in a quantity size that you needed and was a decent price... would you consider it for your herd? It's lower in protein than I'd like but I could add BOSS.

I wouldn't... all the carrots, fruit, and corn in there are near the beginning... which means there's a lot of them in there. It's all basically candy as far as rabbits are concerned.

Then the corn carries the threat of toxic fungal contamination... there seems to be corn in just about every rabbit chow out there, though.

In the 'pet world', at least for guinea pigs, all that colored, specially shaped and fluffy bits is just waste! Not just because they won't eat it, but because it's just candy and not actually healthy to feed it to them that often.

And 4# for $12, hahahaha. No freaking way, they are just stealing from people that have pet rabbits with that type of a price...

Junk only used by well meaning but clueless pet owners who have no real idea what a rabbit ( or guinea pig) evolved to eat.

Junk food, made to look good for the person buying it, no serious thought given to the fact rabbits are herbivores not vegetarians.

I lost interest in it before I saw how much it costs. At $12 per 4 pounds, 50 lbs of the stuff would cost $150, which for me would amount to $300 every couple of weeks. Add to all those reasons the fact that I just don't even like the ingredients listed. Yuppies who try to pass themselves off as rabbit owners by buying this stuff in reality have too much time and money on their hands and may be all over it like Buddhists on a twinkie, but nah, I'll pass.

I was okay with the carrots - but not by much - and apples but not the puffed corn, papaya, etc. I just don't see a way to make this into the right feed for what I need. Then there's the insanely laughable price.

A friend of mine is a distributor and asked what I thought. To me, it seems like the equivalent of Fruit Loops for rabbits.

I would not bother feeding that stuff to any members of my herd.
Why would anyone choose it over a properly balanced [plain ole]
pelleted rabbit feed? Oh yeah, certainly the pretty colors
make it appear more attractive, but the nutritional value is,
well, lacking something! The price is the knockout punch,
when you can purchase a quality pelleted feed for $15.00
or less in 50 pound bags. As always, JMPO.
