How do you tell if a rabbit is overweight or underwieght if she is a mutt? I have 2 does from the same litter. They are mainly Tennessee Redback/Lionhead mix, although one is reddish-black with no lionhead mane at all! The black one is a lot little-er than the other one. Is there a way to tell if a mutt rabbit is a healthy size?
Thanks!

Pet their back- you should feel rounded bumps where the spine is. If you can't feel bumps, the rabbit is fat. If they feel spiky or sharp, the rabbit is too thin.

Thank you so much! Now I just have to get them to stay still...
actually, I'm working on getting them used to being petted/groomed/touched/picked up, so it might take me a while to check.

Try to pet them when you feed them. The first few times they may dart away, but they soon get used to it.
