Mean Doe now has a name - South. The buck I bred her to is East.
I didn't know if she was bred when I got her. It was a possibility, so I put the nesting box in a few days ago when I started to notice her girth increased in that gestating kind of way, just in case. It's now been 20 days since I bred her.
She's...building a nest? I can't tell. She sits in the nest box, is pulling some fur, but eats all the hay from it. Then she goes to the hayrack to get more to shove in the nest.
I don't want to remove the nesting box, in case she was bred. But I'm getting a little annoyed with her using it as her bed. Could it hurt anything?

__________ Tue Jul 23, 2013 12:16 pm __________

Oh, also, she and East (and West) are siblings. I'm a little confused on how inbreeding affects them.
Say I get a good doe from her. Can I hold it back to breed to East/West? Or should I continue on with my plan to get some SF or Champaigns to add new genetics?
