I only live about an hour from Taylorsville and planned on going to it and was wondering if anyone had ever been to it? I am hoping to find a lionhead breeder but was just curious if there normally was many lionheads even at this show? I've never been to a rabbit show but the woman I got my first rabbit from said a lot of times people have bunnies for sale at the shows.

Hi, Welcome to Rabbit Talk. Big Lion Head Rabbit lover myself. Since Lion heads are not recognized as a ARBA breed, there might not be many at the show. Some do show their Lion Heads in Open Class though.

Here's the Association I belong to. People who love their Lion heads are working hard to get this rabbit recognized as an ARBA breed.

Have fun at the Show. Lots of rabbits there and maybe you can get some info to where you can get a Lion head, if none are being shown in Open Class.

I've been to the Taylorsville shows and they run a nice show. I believe there were Lionheads there in July, but don't hold me too it. You should come on out, its a good time, and yes, there usually are rabbits for sale. You can call or email the show secretary and she can tell you if there are any Lionheads entered in the show. The later you wait to do this the better as a lot of folks will wait until the week of the show to send in their entries.
