I wasn't able to get the feed I have been using and had to pick up some from Tractor Supply this weekend.

I'd prefer to use the other mainly to support the family owned feed store but their hours and my new part-time job don't work out... That and my new part-time job puts me in TSC on Saturdays.

From what they had I couldn't get an 18% feed -which if I didn't have a doe with kits I wouldn't have even blinked.

Anyway, will that 2% be any worry? The doe and the kits are in great shape, and I've been giving her a ration of oatmeal as well.

I was feeding a pellet made by Ware Milling out of Houston, MISSISSIPPI. I went with the Manna Pro at TSC.

Talk to them and see if they will order the Manna Pro Sho for you. I do feed the Manna Pro Select pro to my meat rabbits and they do just fine on it.

I've never used 18% for any litters. Does average 7-11 kits and have been bred back to back.

I didn't use 18% either. 15% Alfalfa based pellets from the time my buck and doe were 6 weeks old. First Time Mom had 4 live kits. No peanuts. And my buck was switched to 14% Timothy Based pellet at 7 months. No problems with fertility issues. Both were unproven and resulted with 4 kits, which is average for a Lion Head.
