I live in SW New Mexico where we are currently in mid ‘80’s to 90’s depending on the day. Higher as we get further in. What is the warmest it can be to safely breed? Locals tell me 85 degrees and here I’ve not read about temparure issues when breeding so curious what u all do.

I usually don't breed june/july/august, altough with mild temps now i have a litter that is 4 days old now.
Normally i'd have summer kits born before the end of may. Feeding them mostly on greens makes such litters cheeper then winter ones although cold is way less a worry then heat.
Next breeding round will be september somewhere, so kits again early oktober, then maybe a litter around newyears (if i don't breed all 3 in september) and september batch again about late march/april.

Need to do some reorganizing in the rabbitry, so breeding schedules go awry a bit here and there.
