Not that I want to rush through summer now that winter is finally totally not coming back for at least three months, but I wish it were later in the summer for raising up new litters of rabbits!!! July and August in northern Ohio can be brutal with heat and humidity (sometimes Houston Texas has better August weather than the Mistake on the Lake). I'm thinking of breeding Heaven to Wheatley for tasty offspring, and put Wheatley to Megan about the same time. I think I'm going to rehome my MR buck... maybe. He's a joy to have, though, and makes cute babies with Lexi. As it is, I'll be keeping a boy and a girl from Megan's current litter. I think once I get babies from Heaven, I'll move her on to FC. Keep the best, eat the rest, right? If/when I move Heaven and Trooper on, that'll free up two holes.
Ugh, speaking of summer, the neighbors have informed us that they're shooting off fireworks again at the 4th. This isn't safe on a Cleveland inner city lot. Last year they had rockets zip back into their party and a bunch dropped into our yard and flew around, landing in our yard and on our roof. :evil: It wasn't safe to go outside. They never came over to pick up the mess, which they said they'd do. This means this year the rabbits will get moved into the garage for the 4th and the radio turned up.
And I'll be calling the cops about three minutes after they start firing off their stash.
