Still possibly pregnant?

I have a mini rex that gave birth yesterday to 3 kits. But today when she lays stretched out, I swear she looks like she still have babies moving in her. Is it possible that she could still be pregnant?

Yes. Sometimes labor will stop if they feel they are in danger. There have been some posts recently about does that have had kits 2-3 days after the original birth.

Thanks. I saw your response to my other post about the doe who had a kit stuck yesterday and that she could have more kits. Sorry, I guess I was thinking that you were just talking about does who had problems not ones who had actually had live births. It has been a crazy two days with these two does. Thank you for being so nice and answering my question twice!

LOL! I didn't realize I was repeating myself to the same person until I read your post about the stuck kit again. Strange case of deja-vu there!

It's okay- different circumstances can cause different results. I hope things work out for your girls... they'll probably be fine and hopefully you just have a case of "nestbox jitters"!

These are the only two that survived. Mama is a Castor Mini Rex and dad was an Opal Mini Rex. This is our first litter of mini rexes and I know the one on the right is a castor. Any suggestions for the color of the one on the left? We've always raised Californians so figuring out colors has never been a problem before.
