Stasis - would you eat the meat?

Hello everyone. I found my doe dead this morning. She was fine yesterday. I opened her up to see what happened and this is what I found. Does it look like stasis? Can I still eat the meat and organs?

Other than a lot of fat, I don't see anything wrong with the organs. However, I personally would not eat the meat from an animal that just randomly died without knowing the cause unless I or my family was starving.

Considering that the organs show no signs of obvious disease, I would feed them to my barn cats and ranch dogs... but those are animals that are "expendable" in my book, as opposed to my children or husband.

I agree... I would not eat a rabbit I found dead.

I can't see much of the small intestine, but the stomach looks full. Don't know if it could be stasis.

I would bury it or feed it to my own critters. I would not sell a found dead animal. They make good compost.
