I just found out there is a show coming to my town in May... So, my question is... How do I enter my rabbits into a show? I feel stupid for asking but I have just never done it before... I didn't even know my dinky little town held rabbit shows...

Here are all the show listings for your state:

The contact information for the show secretary is listed. Sometimes, the club also provides a link for the show catalog, which will give you all the info you'll need for entries and show rules.

Most shows require carriers with leak-proof drip pans as a minimum, and some require pre-entry.

Also, "dinky little towns" are usually very suitable sites for rabbit shows. It's how and where I got started 30+ years ago as a teenager (so don't knock it), and small clubs are a great way to get started in showing, IMHO. The smaller town sites are normally chosen because use of the facilities there costs considerably less than bigger, more elaborate facilities in larger towns.

One more thing: The only stupid questions you'll ever ask are the ones you NEVER ask!!! ;)

Satinsrule gave excellent advice.

Normally you have to contact the show secretary and email your entries. You'll have to tell the show secretary the breed, sex, variety and whether your entering a senior or junior.

Sometimes there are day of entries, where you go to the show and register for the show on the same day.

Good luck!
