I was going to breed my Smoke pearl martin doe to one of my bucks who is a black sable martin.
What colours would I be most likely to get from this cross? I know that the does sire was black otter and her dam
was some sort of smoke pearl- I can't quite remember, and the bucks sire was a self black and his dam
was an orenge agouti?... Well that's what it says on his papers anyway, so I dunno.

Thanks in advance :)

Smoke pearl marten doe = ata B_ cchl_ dd E_

Black sable marten buck = ata B_ cchl_ D_ E_

You will get black sable martens, seals and siamese sables.

If the buck carries dilute you could get smoke pearl martens, blue seal and smoke pearls

You could get himilayan or red eyed white if that is the unknown on their C-locus

I doubt chocolates or non-extension is in their genes but you wont know unless you breed.

Do you have any colour info on any offspring or siblings of the buck and doe?

In the does litter there was one chocolate sable martin and two smoke pearls or blue otters?
And the bucks siblings where one self black and I think two black sable martins or black otters.
The only info I have for them is that when the doe was bred to a chinchilla buck she had one chinchilla
and two smoke pearl martins. That was her first breeding, and this will be the martin bucks first time too.

Alright, that doesn't help on what's hidden on their C-locus but the doe might carry chocolate and the bucks orange agouti mom could be chocolate too :) so add chocolate sable marten, chocolate seal and chocolate siamese sable to the possibilities.
