Single kit litter DOA

Hi all, okay so I'm new to breeding rabbits, though not owning them. My 12 month old standard rex has just had her first litter, on day 37 so well overdue..as I had suspected it was a very large single kit, stretched from its difficult delivery. The doe is eating, drinking and using her litter tray as normal. My real question is, do I give her a rest then try and breed her again? Could this just be a first time mum problem? Is the buck proven? If not and you have another buck, try again with a different buck. Otherwise, just try again.

It was his first time! But he comes from very good lines so fingers crossed it was just a first time blip. I’ll rest her up then try again in a few weeks. Thanks for responding, it’s good to have a bit of input that I’m not doing it all completely wrong
