Silver Fox Doe & Buck, silver/blue kits?

one of my SF does just recently had her first litter. 5 are black as expected and 3 are blue. is this due to a reccessive gene in either the buck or doe or both?

Dilute (blue) is recessive, so both parents must carry it for it to crop up in a litter.
