It isn't silly. Not only did I not know how to pronounce it, I don't know what it means :eek: We raise meat muts and I don't know much about the world of colors and breeds etc.
 
Sounds like ah-booty...lol
I say ah-gou-tee cus that's what the spelling tells me. :p I don't get why English doesn't follow its own rules, not saying this is an original English used word.

Agouti is the "wild" dominant color, the rabbits have a base color and what appears to be ticking peppered across the base coat. When you blow into the coat, you can see clear rings of color. The will also have eyes and ears rimmed in white, and a white underbelly. it's easier to show you a Pict than for me to really describe it properly, but since I have Rex agouti, the colors won't look like they wood would with other breeds.
