It's August and it has been getting hotter here so he's been molting. The red spots are from accidentally brushing too hard I feel so bad will be careful next time. This is my first rabbit and I am wondering if I should be worried about the bald spots

You shed him out to much?

(It's okay I literally did the same thing this spring and felt AWFUL... I had no idea you could do that!)

Thank you so much for the reassurance! I was trying too hard to be a good bun mum! By any chance would you know how long it takes for their undercoat to grow back?

I shed mine out about middle of July and it has grown back for the most part and actually has come in quite beautifully! This is definitely a learning experience for us! I had no clue you could shed them too much! So maybe 3 - 4 weeks and your bunny should be pretty much make so normal and have plenty of healthy fur coming in!
