I'm trying to slowly upgrade my rabbit facilities so in that vein I phoned Kammalop and ordered 5 more Duratrays to replace my crummy Tractor Supply trays but Holy Cats, the shipping charge was $93.36!!!! That is the greatest shipping bill I have ever paid for anything!

I have found there to be a huge difference in shipping charges between companies. For my location Bass was the cheapest shipping, even for the large items. KW cages was the second cheapest.

No, not Kammalop's fault but I do wish she had let me know before committing to the order. Maybe they are used to seeing such charges but I am not. Even when I have ordered gun powder or other things which require a Haz-Mat shipping charge I doubt I've ever incurred more than $50.00 total shipping charge.

Not cheap to ship duratrays at all. you're much better off hitting up an equipment vendor at the next show and have them bring some along. Been there, done that.

Well I will say it was quick! I came home this afternoon from helping a friend work bunny berries into his new garden plot and was surprised to find a huge box on my front porch, didn't have to read the label to know it was my trays.
I've never been to a rabbit show and wouldn't know where to find one, I doubt I'd find one closer than Kalispell or Spokane, both long drives from Troy, MT. There is a downside to living in the sticks but it's a trade I've gladly made. :D
