Hey everyone! I'm new here. I was just wondering if anyone had suggestions about some safe, easy-to-grow plants that I can get for my rabbit. If possible, could they be indooor plants? If I planted them outside, more likely than not, my dog would dig them up haha. I want the plants to be an occasional treat for my bun. Any tips are appreciated!

Try your hand at microgreens.

Good for you and good for the buns!

They are super easy. You harvest them in 7-10 days. All you really need is a sunny window sill to do a small amount, but if you want more you can repurpose a small shelving unit and keep yourself and the buns in greens all year round. I buy BOSS bird seed from my feed store and then I get other varieties of seed in bulk from true leaf market.

You might also want to look into doing an indoor fodder system. Like Preitler said they really do love oat, barley, and wheat grass. You can cobble together a decent system with dollar tree supplies.
