before I drive 1.5 hours back and forth to get feed.

My plan...supplement with rabbit pellets from town (cheapy stuff...not great but not horrid). (mixing it in with the pellets I have left)
feed oats and boss and tons of hay.

Think that should do me okay for the bunnies??
Will also be culling out sooner rather than later the stock that I can cull out.

how much oats/boss should I feed?

they normally get 1 tbsp/night so upping it won't be an issue except for the babies, the increased hay should counteract that I think.

Cant imagine it would be a problem. I pre-mix Pie's food (I mix 5lb.16% protein pellet feed to 2 cups BOSS & 3 cup oats). He's free-fed his pellet/oats/boss mixture (but ends up eating about 1 1/2 to 2 cups per day). In addition, per day he also gets unlimited Timothy hay with 2 alfalfa cubes, 1 cup fresh greens & 1 inch of fresh carrot. He is a very big eater and its important to me to make sure he has a varied & healthy diet. Id love to up him to a 18% pellet but I just cant find it around here. Bummer.
