Roaning?

[Desert Rose Rabbits]

I was curious if rabbits have a 'roan' capablity in their markings? One of my does I'm thinking of keeping back is fawn with a smutty nose and now she's starting to go salty, almost. She started out solid fawn with the smutty nose, and now she has white intermixed with the fawn and reminds me of a roaned horse.

Is there a name for this?

I don't know... the only possibility I can think of is the Silver Fox, but I don't know if that is a true roan.

Both my new Zealand reds went through a phase where their coat was frosty looking, kind of like a cream d'argent, but as soon as they molted they turned into a nice red color again. I think I have a picture somewhere of my buck when he went through it.
