I am replacing some worn out feeders. Since it's near impossible to replace the screen, I need new ones.

My choices are 1) same screen ones, which rabbits chew through or rust out, or grains fall out 2) solid bottom, the cheapest which have to be taken out to empty fines, but can hold grains 3) perforated bottoms, more expensive 4) EZ crocks, much more expensive but will never rust or cut.

I have three solid bottom. The one never seems to have fines in it.

Nothing like shopping on a snow day.

I have one feeder that needs repair, but know there will be more in the future, so I bought a roll of expanded metal. They wont be able to shred it, and I am going to use hot glue to attach it.

I have some of that, as a gutter roll. Could not figure out how to attach it. I will give that a try.
