I, currently, have
- 2 Cali-mutt does in an 8'x10' colony.
- 4 "mini" lops (none of them are MINI!!!) in 4'x10' colony
- 1 Cali-mutt buck in a cage
- 1 "NZ" buck in a cage

I have a 2 cage hutch that was built for the minis (supposed to house 2 each), that ended up holding the lionheads, which are now inside.

So I'm thinking...
- Cali-mutt buck into the top of that hutch
- "NZ" buck into the 4'x10' space
- MLs into the 8'x10' space
- 1 Cali-mutt doe in each of the hanging cages

I handle the does more often than the bucks. There's wire separating the two colonies, so I'd prefer the have the "NZ" in there over the Cali buck, in case someone decides to breed through the wire with the MLs - too much of a size difference with the Cali-mutt.

Only problem is the hutch is a lot smaller than the cage he's in now. It's closer to a production cage, and I made the mistake early on of giving them a lot more room than necessary.

My other option is to say screw it and go for the tractor idea. Everyone would get a tattoo. The Cali-mutts would all go into one tractor together, and the "NZ" would go into another with the two larger ML does.
