These are ones I had back in June that were sold as pets, what color do you thing they are? Mom is a red, with all reds and one tri way back on her pedigree, dad is a REW who i believe is genetically a black otter. 3 Black otters and these 2 came out of the liter. I forget what they other 2 were, they were stilborn
Here they are! Ill see if i can get an updated picture, seeing as i sold one to my 2nd cousin

4 leaf clover in the front!

__________ Wed Nov 28, 2012 1:52 am __________

Reason I am curious is that I did the same breeding again, it resulted in very nicely typed rabbits, and some interesting colors, she is due the 3rd

Wish I could help on color, but.... Lovely rabbits. Agree, clover pic is precious. Love that black otter.

Fingers crossed for an easy delivery and healthy kits on the 3rd.

They are so light though! They are pictures of the same 2 rabbits in each one.
I brought them to a 4-H show and the judge said they were definitely not reds, but she had no idea what they were either.

__________ Wed Nov 28, 2012 12:18 pm __________

Ill be happy if they are reds though!

Do they look like this in color? This is a red, on the lighter side but he did decent in his show career and is classifed as a red on the table in arba.

Don't mind the horrible picture, he was still young here and learning to pose.

Yes they did look like that, They were a bit lighter on the sides though. Thankyou for the picture!

No problem, sometimes comparing pictures can help. I adore my reds so I have tons of them.

Some may even consider it I think fawn, not really sure on thsi I have never had or seen one up close but i have heard it from time to time, but I and another red breeder had ones like the picture i showed, and they were never marked by the judge as Fawn. Hers was even lighter then mine and the judge did remark that he was a bit to light in color and she got a fault from it but never DQ for being not a Red.
