Are you looking just for rabbits in Nebraska? Do you pick up the rabbits?
I live in Oklahoma and know there is a need for more proccessors here but I would have a hard time selling my rabbits for $1.50/lb live weight. This may be a great price but just not for me.
I'm just curious how anyone can sell a rabbit for $1.50 lb live weight and make any money. Either you have one crazy feed conversion ratio or you pay very little for feed. With a ratio of 4 to 1 and feed cost at 30 cents, it cost me $1.20 to make 1 lb of live rabbit. Am I missing something here?
