today I took a large bowl of rabbit noodle soup into work, I came home with an empty bowl.LOL
I told the others at work I was trying a new recipe, and wanted them to try the soup and tell me what they thought.

there is only 5 items in the soup.

1, boiled rabbit
2, 1 chicken flavored bulion cube
3, 3 med. carrots cut into cubes.
4, 1 12 oz pack of noodles.
5, 1 1/2 gals of water.

I cut up the rabbit so it would fit into my pot. added water a bulion cube,
cooked at a med. boil for 45 mins.
pulled out the rabbit meat and allowed to cool.
cut up the carrots, and deboned the rabbit, cut it into small chunks.
I allowed the water too cool, skimed off any fat and foam from the water.
put meat and carrots into the cold stock, brought to a med. boil until the carrots were tender, added the noodles, cooked for 15 mins. longer.

as I said there was nothing left, 1 person asked me what the meat was. I though, I would be run out when I said rabbit. but everyone said they enjoyed the soup. and I have 6 of the rabbits I processed on saturday sold.
So I guess I have 3 new customers. :D

That's wonderful! I have generated sales by feeding people rabbit dishes also. :)

Rabbit makes the best broth EVER! :dinner:

Hubs wont let me make soup or stew in the summer. It is winter fare only here.

I usally do not make much soup during the summer, too hot.
I was just in the mood for some soup. the wife, leves me alone and she
is happy to have time out of the kitchen.

I use all my extra bunny bones and pressure can my own stock. It's preferred to chicken around here and it helps use up the whole animal. The kids call it "bunny noodle soup"

I must say I got a chuckle out of the carrots in rabbit noodle soup. Maybe it is because I'm tired but that makes me giggle.
