Only my breeders get real names, I don't want to name babies I plan to eat, I might get attached (and even if I don't, others in my family might). That said, mine have actual names and then they have the names I call them. I let my son name most of them and as a result many have anime-related names (Flopsie, after King Bumi's pet goat-gorilla, Ashe from Pokémon, Gaia, Terra - I don't know where the last two are from but I can guarantee there is some anime connection). I named Fiona, Maxine and Sunny. But, I call Flopsie Floopso most of the time, Ashe gets called Ashy, Terra = Miss T (or sometimes Miss Terrable, when she's spilling her food everywhere), Gaia = Miss G, Fiona is Fee or Miss Fee, and Sunny gets SunBun. Maxine doesn't get called anything anymore, we ate her.
