 Came home to find someone had opened all of our rabbit hutch doors. Thank goodness we found all of the buns! None of the neighbor kids would admit to it, but I have my suspicions. Now we have locks on all the doors.

Why in the world would they do that? It is not like they can be "set free", they are NOT wild rabbits! Grrrr  that makes me so mad!

Oh man, heads will roll! I thought of putting locks on all of my hutches just incase some kook or neighborhood kid decides to "liberate" my rabbits.

I had to put a big lock my rabbitry door because some neighbouring kids thought they can walk right in and play with the bunnies.

So glad you found all the buns!!!

We put a lock on our rabbitry when we thought someone might be coming in. We no longer think so, but we still lock it at night. Once we take the plastic down (soon!), we will lock it during the day, too. Right now, I have to leave it open so it doesn't get too hot in there.

So sorry to hear that. Unfortunately, I think that type of thing occurs more frequently than you'd think. I'm glad that you found all of your rabbits. How many nest boxes do you need in 28 days? It's hard telling which of your rabbits took advantage of the freedom. ;)
