Thank you in advance for your help. I have completed a search and was unable to find the answer to my question in previous posts. So here is my newbie question:
Which SIZE Bass Pro Feedsaver is appropriate for adult New Zealands?
I am leaning more toward the smaller Feedsaver simply to prevent more feed from being wasted. I am not concerned with capacity since I hire my caretaker when I go on vacation. My primary concern is wasted feed. I have two sizes of J-feeders wasting feed but more is lost from the 6" feeder no matter which doe is utilizing it. Presently, a full 1/3 to 1/2 of the feed ends up on the ground.
With my current J-feeders, I notice my rabbits taking pellets at odd angles as though the feeder is not large enough for their head. Not being familiar with the Feedsaver, as I review my Bass Equipment order I feel a reluctance to hit the submit button without consulting the experts on this site.
Please keep in mind that I am a newbie to raising rabbits and appreciate all your comments no matter the redundancy as related to previous posts on this forum.
