I am getting ready to start building my first rabbit hutch. I have the basic design in my head. It will be 9 feet long and divided into three 36"x24" sections. Question is, the hutch is going up against the side of my shed. Is there a problem with using the shed wall as the back of the hutch? That would save me $10 in screen if I could do that which would be great.

If the shed wall is wood they will probably chew it. I made an exercise pen for my rabbits using one wall of the shed as a side, but Hubs would have been less than pleased if they chewed through the siding, so I used some wind-damaged corrugated aluminum to protect it. I also didn't want them peeing all over the wood- metal is easier to clean.
