I have two, 3 month old rabbits out of a litter of 8 that, to me, appear to be extremely "pot bellied". My assumption is coccidia, however these bunnies are thriving, growing better than their siblings, eat well and have no diarrhea.
These bunnies have never been on the ground and eat only good quality pellets, with occasional sliced apples or carrots stolen from "people food". None of their siblings appear to be "pot bellied".
For those who may have dealt with coccidia, does this sound like the symptoms? If so, should I treat only the affected rabbits, or would it hurt to treat all of the rabbits? Is it necessary to treat all of the rabbits? Where does it come from?
