Plant ID and safety for rabbits

What is this plant and is it safe for rabbits? TIA!

I think I have the same plant in my lawn, don't know what it's called. If I remember correctly, it has yellow flowers mid-summer. I think it's toxic, but don't quote me.

It looks kind of like goldenrod. If it is then it is safe and my rabbits like the young spring shots but won't eat it after a flower head starts to develop
