Pineapple Rind/Leaves Safe to Feed?

The title kind of says it all... we have fresh pineapple, and sliced the skin off, so there is a bit of fruit on it as well... can the bunnehs eat it? How about the leaves from the top?
 
Don't feed them the leaves... The sap is supposed to be poisonous.

I don't think I would chance feeding the rind either. It may cause skin irritation. I've experienced this from mangoes (the flesh, not the skin) and it's no fun.

The resin in the pineapple skin may cause an itchy rash in some people (as does the mango). Gloves are recommended for those prone to rashes while handling and skinning the fresh fruit.
