I finally had a chance to get some pictures of my wee ones which were kindled 12/5 and 12/6 respectively.

They are Tan's --
Here is a pic of the doe of the litter with 5 kits. Shown here with a kit from a previous litter

Awwww! Adorable, and so sleek and healthy! I am down to 3 scrawny popples out of 7. :( Very nice to see such healthy little kits! Are they tans?

Hah! ? answered!

OMGoodness, what cool looking rabbits! They are so sleek, and shiny. Just beautiful!

Nice rabbits! We wanted to have Tans but we lost our buck and the female we had was not very nice so my daugher just wanted to get out of the breed (mainly from a broken heart - she loved her male) and switched to Mini Rex.

Thanks all!! Those tan does do seem to be that way - both of mine seem to pick the moments they wish to be nice vs being evil (usually when you're trying to do something in their cage). One will just box and growl, but the other will nip if you don't watch out. Let her know you're aware of her shenanigans though and she settles down and is actually pretty sweet. Both are like that in the cage primarily. Remove them and they're okay. The buck is a pleasure to deal with and I have a junior buck (the one in the pic above with his mom) that's the same way. Nary a growl, or any other signs of a temper.

Is that blue one a Tan as well?

Which one are you referring to as the blue one? They are all Tan's. I would love to have a blue but I believe it is lilac.

Hard to tell color from pics but I mean the only one that is a blue-ish grey color...LOL! I guess it must be Lilac...

What do the Lilac ones look like fully grown?

They should be a light to medium dove gray according to the standard. I really need to see a live blue to compare. Maybe what I'm thinking is lilac is actually blue although the standard describes blue as a dark blue. Here's a pic of a junior doe that I think is Lilac

Aww, I love the rabbit pics. The colors are so unique--I've never seen rabbits that color before last weekend. As you can probably guess, I'm new to the rabbit world. :)
