Anyone have any experience with the breed? Good, bad????? I know nothing about them. :)

While we was getting our rabbits tattoo'd for fair there was someone there with a litter of lynx colored palominos, they have 8 babies and should have 5 babies left to sell after fair. Thinking of getting some, only thing is they are from 1 litter so... I would be breeding brother and sister if I got them unless she happens to have another litter this fall.

I was thinking about getting 1 of them too and watching for another litter down the road or from someone else at a rabbit show. I was checking them out last year at the fair, wish we would have more than just that family show them though so we could get a better view on if they are pretty good or not though.

I have a Lynx Palomino buck, non pedigreed though cause he was a CL free bun, who is an absolute love bug! Whenever I open his cage door he is bumping my hand for pets and chin scratches. If loose he fallows me around the yard. A very polite buck to the ladies but he does spray.

Palominos are my heart breed !! I have not had much experience with the Lynx variety... but the Goldens to me are the prettiest of rabbits. :)

Most, (not all but Most), Pals have a laid back personality. I have had the misfortune of dealing with two "basket cases" in the years we've raised them... They did Not remain here long ... as who Wants to deal with a "bunny blender" every time one walks into the barn.

There are some Very good Palomino breeders in Ohio... i recommend checking on the Pal web site for the Member listing...

There are also a few FB groups....some busier than others... but a nice group of people that are interested in the Pal breed. :)

I didn't get to talk to the lady too much as they was busy, but yes I was eyeing them up last year too

I could always just get a doe for now and cross her with my red buck, for meat only, until we can find an unrelated buck. Of course this all depends on our money situation. Right now with the baby on the way most of our money is going to Dr. bills and buying baby stuff. :D

I am pretty sure Ashley still has their number if you would like to give them a call. She was very good friends with the ladies daughters when they went to the same school.
