What are your thoughts on adding a tort doe to my breeding program with my tri buck. The tort has beautiful structure and comes from amazing lines. My tri is also very nice, but I’m hoping to make an even more desirable tri. I’m reading so many conflicting articles or blogs and now I’m lost. Yes, I know I may get Torted tris, but I could also get a clean tri with better type. Thoughts??

Mini Rex? If so I think you just have to be diligent about culling the undesirables. It isn't a SUPER compatible color combo but can definitely be done.

keep your type first, the colour will come later. You may need to do some hard culling down the road to get rid of the torted tris. Improve your type and work on the colour as it comes.
