So last night DH told me that w/e I post on open FB groups, He Can See!!!
Ugh! I hate that!!
Makes me not want to post on FB ever again! No privacy what so ever.

Anyone else recently realize this?

Most of my FB groups are closed. Only members can see the post. The Admin needs to do that.

FB groups can be open, closed, or secret. And yes, anything posted to an open group can be seen by ANYONE on FB, anywhere. ISTR that even closed groups can be seen by the general public--you just can't post without being a member, and can't join without approval. (I would check for sure, but FB is being really stupid here right now--display is TOTALLY messed up, and I can't even log out.)

I just didn't realize that basically, I might as well be posting right on my own wall. I thought it was more like a forum, that unless they came to the group, they wouldn't see what was on there.
I rather tell him things on my time, and it's just so weird that it's all on my page but I'm not posting on my page so it shouldn't show up there!
Plus, why should I tell my husband everything freaking thing? We're two people, not one, it's not natural for him to know my every danged thought!

Theres a setting, a friend posted, that all the group stuff would not post to the newsfeed. If not, everything you write everywhere on FB appears on the newsfeed of your friends.

I need to learn how to delete something someone put on my timeline-- I am NOT literate in this cyber-geek area!@!!

If you hover over it, on the right top corner, and x should appear with menu choices.

Thanks ever so much--- I have to work with the poster, but there are times he really gets to me-- and puts stuff on my timeline that I find objectionable...usually when he is having a bad day--
