This is the only jr I have to show for my break in showing. I've had such a terrible time getting anything to take and the does were really bad about nesting so 2 of the 4 I bred this year the whole litter died. One doe was bred through the cage by the wrong buck and it just was not a good cross. The litter this guy came from was a litter of 6, 2 died from crawling out of their box, one was a no show that I sold as a pet, I had promised a friend a couple of rabits for their kids(so I sold 2 show quality rabbits as pets) and was left with this one guy left. He's a really nice buck and chocolate to boot(wasnt sure if the doe carried chocolate) hoping to get him on the show table for the show in March. Best of luck in the show! I love the rex coat, I have a cator and broken black purebreeds and a rex coated mutt who's chocolate.

Liz, I think we've all been there (does not taking) a time or two in our operations. Nearly 2 years ago, I couldn't get a successful litter to save my butt. I did manage to get a few last spring, then got 2 successful litters of reds (which had never happened for me previously).

Either way, that chocolate is a nice one to get out of the ordeal. You'll do fine, but only if you don't give up. Stick with it.
