I love my cats, I really do. I Love Gunny, yes, But I do NOT love the fact that Gunny thinks the cats are leaving him snacks..

"Gunny, Come to bed"

"Gunny, get in here-- NOW!"

"GUNNY!"

"Oh, Poop! Gunny, I am NOT letting you sleep on the bed with cat poop breath!" :x

Ewww! I can't stand dogs when they eat the "tootsie rolls"!

Adolf's meat tenderizer added to a dog's food will often make its own poop unpalatable- perhaps you could try it on the kittie's food and see if that will stop him.

On a side note... when our chickens free range, they enjoy fresh cat poop- so there must be some nutrients available in it, disgusting as that is.

Why do I hate the strays in my neighborhood? Because they leave cat poop all over the front yard, which Phoenix loves to eat :(

Cats DO belong indoors-- they are harmfull in ways most people cannot, or refuse to, see.

If you've ever read the labels on cat and dog foods, you'll see that catfood has a higher protein content than dogs'. My vet said this is why some dogs will eat cat poo (as it still has enough protein for THEM), and also why you should never feed a cat on dry dog kibble, except as a very temporary "nothing in the house, and payday is tomorrow" situation.

The strays around here are good mousers... so I don't mind them. Of course, I don't have a dog yet...

Strays here have not decreased my mouse population, but they have decreased my chicken population on occasion, and increased the likelihood my dogs will get tapeworm. And they are increasing their population as well.

When I was a kid, we had a cat that refused to eat cat food. She would go into the dog's dish and eat his kibble. Until we didn't have a dog, we couldn't convince the cat to eat her own kibbles.

I put an x-pen around my cats litterbox area to keep my brats from snacking

Ever seen this?

kitty litter cake..jpg

It's a cake! Evidently, you eat it...I have never been able to bring myself to try one, it looks so REAL!

My dogs eat the cat poop too, but when that's not available, they are noshing at the rabbit compost   Sasha my pug once knocked down a litter tray and spent the afternoon in there waiting for "goodies" to fall.

I don't mind the rabbit poo so much, even the sheep poo. It does not smell on the breathe like cat poo does.

I don't mind that the dogs eat rabbit and horse manure. I think they need the predigested plant fiber.

I also have no aversion to touching said manure, but you wont see me picking up cat or dog poop with my bare hands.

I heard the rabbit poop was a great source of vitamin B, and since my dogs eat raw, I figured they know if they need more vitamins.

I made that cake once years ago... brought it to a family dinner since they all think I am the crazy animal lady anyways

I should make that cake here. It is a pretty good bet that I would get the bigger share of the cake that way.

My daughter made that cake for her employees-- Halloween is her favorite 'holiday"<br /><br />__________ Tue Jan 01, 2013 10:50 am __________<br /><br />
