Took a posing video yesterday, practice for the future.
I think the big one might actually be a doe. Hmm. Can't wait until 8wks to, hopefully, know for sure.

I know they change as they grow, so these are mostly for fun & to see how they change. Plus, they need practice in posing to hold it.

Broken blue doe, good shape, hates posing.

Low, but no wonky shape.

Getting rid of the 1st SF buck.
He'll be plucked for nesting fur & frozen for dinner if he doesn't sell soon.

The mutt doe is still small. Bred her, but if she doesn't kindle, she'll be plucked & frozen as well.

The 2nd SF buck has a little more silvering, but still doesn't look like a SF should. Not sure what I'll do with him. Need to pose, weigh & check fur type again. He's breeding w/o issue, so I'm hoping he's a good size & shape at the least.

The Rex buck is so picky. He wants the does to run away before he'll mount them. 🤦🏽‍♀️

And the rex furred mutt buck, he's small, but the best breeder. And at this point, I can't get rid of him. 😑

Grumpy blue SF doe is due on the 21st. She seems round. Put in the nest & hoping she does great. I'll move the 2 orphans to her, as hand feeding is so stressful!

SF #14 is due on the 4th.
And both Rex does are due on the 6th.

Problem?
Yes. Seller stopped selling those baskets in the size I need! Wtf?! Trying to find alternatives again. But I really do like these, they're very strong!

Dug up my old computer tower I had used back with my colony. Had to cut it twice to fit through the door. Hoping mom uses it to get away from kits when need be.
She's also fat, but kits are now eating from her feeder.
If I move the tower, I can make a creep area where kits can free feed and raise mom's feeder and put her on a bit of a diet. 🤔

Oops, forgot the video of babies doing baby things.

Orphans are weird today. Seems like they kinda drink best when I keep dribbling it into back of mouth, and somewhat quickly.
Either way, hoping for live, fed Grumpy kits to put them in with! 🤞🤞🤞

Eyes opened very early this morning for Harli & Squiggles!
Breakfast went good, so did the rest of the meals. Harli has been really sucking it down! Broken has been a little difficult, but better than before.

😅 They look a hot mess, but won't stress them with a bath.

Really hoping Grumpy kindles soon & can take the orphans. They're back to not wanting to eat. So stressful!

Grumpy is nesting again!
Moved rest of hay into box & spent forever pulling hair.
She took a short break & is now in the nest. Not sure if she's kindling now or reorganizing nest. 20220921_170022.jpg

Looks like 7!
I wonder if I should water wash & feed the orphans & then put them in tonight or wait.
Interesting colors. Looks like dilutes!
The "solid pinks" are not actually solid. Look to be brokens with very faint color.

They didn't want to eat, ugh, so I washed them and placed them deep in Grumpy's nest. 🤞🤞🤞 Can only hope she will feed them/they will nurse from her.
She checked in on the nest.
