Hello! EA rabbit is on day 2 of eating very little or not at all. Last night he ate 5 stems of dandelion leaves- nothing else today. Since Sunday he hasn’t been really eating or pooping. When I syringe him a slury of pineapple core and fennel (a little kefir is added) he’ll poop black raspberries(cecotropes) . He does not try to eat it. He is an inside and is not around any other rabbits
Does anyone know what this is?
I
am waiting to see if regular vet can squeeze me in/ able to see me. Because of covid many are not seeing new clients /patients

Hard to say for sure.
could be wool block.
could be coccidia.
the fact that he poops of fed would speak to it NOT be wool block.
I'd be guessing bloat or coccidia (intestinal).

Thank you for the reply!
if he had Bloat would he be bloated?

I just syringe fed him(6ml) some greens and offered him some rolled oats- had a couple of bites of oats and that’s it. He still cleans himself self and hops around(not as much as he usually does).

How would you treat coccidia? Would Fenbendazole work? I have this on hand.
