No maned LHs are still lions, can still produce maned offspring although in "perfect" conditions not likely. I've seen some "no" manes actually be singles that just fell out...

ehh depends on if its born with no mane or if its an older rabbit that was maned but has lost it. if it was born with no mane then technically its the lineage of a linehead but somehow managed to not get the mane gene in there. in that case I would not breed from it as I would assume it would pass on that trait, I suppose unless you had the space to keep it on and it had other great qualities worth keepin it on and test breeding from it. but I would say as a rule I wouldn't personally breed from one.
in the case of an older rabbit I would probably breed from it a bit. you want to breed for a rabbit that has a nice mane and one that keeps it as long as possible. although on breeding does it seems more lenient as they do pull for nesting and all so its harder for them to keep up a mane. but as a rule breeding for nice manes and keeping manes. so I would say yes if its got other good/great traits to pass on to your lines.

They may not be showable but they still have a pedigree and the body confirmation for a Lionhead, so I consider them Lionheads.

Consider other unshowable traits - a harlequin Mini Rex is still a rex, a steel coloured NZ produced from a NZWhite x NZBlack is still a NZ, and false dwarf ND are still Netherlands

I'm talking legit no-manes with no mane gene, from SM to SM breedings, not srs or SMs with poor mane genes - with them the mane gene is still there, just poorly expressed.

I also think of it more as... a rex without the rex fur. A lop without the lopped ears. Colour is one thing, but if you remove the main defining feature of the breed?

I don't consider them lionheads.
